Hello! My name is Dasha Jamison.
Almost 3 years ago I fall in love with a fine medium of pastel. I have been enjoying learning about the medium through the Pastel Societies and workshops and lessons including Richard McKinley, Olga Abramova, Marsha Savage and Linda Mutti, and every single artist whom i had a pleasure to paint together with.
And it is all started with Art Studio of the Smokies
Upon relocating to Nevada I was surprised to find out that there was not a Pastel Society located anywhere within the state.
As an artist, I understand the importance of fellowship to grow not just my skill but an exchange of creative energy with others from beginners to advanced to grow our talents as well as nurture our drive. I truly believe it is the key to my growth in the pieces I learned and was inspired by others to thrive. So...we decided to start the RED ROCK PASTEL SOCIETY OF NEVADA. By becoming a member with us you will also become a member of IAPS( International Association of Pastel Societies) and join members of all ages.... accomplishments...and skill sets.
The first 100 members will receive an introductory rate of $15 and after March 31st, 2019 it will be a $35 only per a year.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF IAPS Red Rock Pastel SOCIETY of Nevada MAY:
✅Participate in various activities conducted by IAPS at the Biennial Convention such as workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, etc.
✅All IAPS members are eligible to submit artwork for the jury in all IAPS Exhibitions including – online, gallery, museum, and convention shows.
✅Individual members of member societies may list IAPS membership on their resumes. ✅Individual members of member societies who have achieved their Master Circle or Eminent Pastelist status may use IAPS/MC or IAPS/EP after their name.
✅Attend the Biennial Convention at a discounted rate. Did you registered? Make sure you don’t miss IAPS 2019.
