About the event
In this unique workshop experience, Corey Pitkin PSA, IAPS-MC will demonstrate his methods for quickly and decisively capturing the grace and beauty of the nude figure as he works with a live model in his studio in Hudson Falls, NY.Â
North Light, April is an image of the model we'll be working with, in the studio
Topics will include how to light the figure, natural vs artificial lighting, posing the model, anatomy vs form, and much more. A live feed of the model will be streamed alongside the demonstration so students can paint along, and the workshop will conclude with individual critiques. Corey will be working on a dark sanded paper (UART dark, Pastelmat, or Canson Touch) and using a full color palette.
