About the event

Meet Tatsiana Harbacheuskaya:

Originally from Belarus, I'm an exhibiting and teaching artist now living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I studied at Gomel College of Arts and Minsk University of Culture in Belarus earning my Master degree in Fine Arts and Art History. I started my art career in oils and gradually shifted to watercolor. But a couple of years ago when I tried pastel I felt hooked and at the present time I work in watercolor and pastels, and sometimes I combine them together. My recent achievements in pastels in 2022: The painting "Coral Peonies On Turquoise Tablecloth" was honored with the Best in Show Award in the Connecticut Pastel Society Renaissance 2022 exhibition. “Freedom Roses” won the Gallery Choice Award in the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada 2022 International Juried Exhibition 2022. “Peonies in Turquoise Kettle” received J Luda Pastels Award in 4th annual CMPS “Marks of Distinction” National Juried Show ( Central Massachusetts Pastel Society) 2022. Another piece “Arrangement with Peonies” has been juried into the Philadelphia Pastel Society’s 1st National Open Juried Exhibition 2022 and received the Constance J. McClatchy Memorial Award of Excellence for Use of Color. My website is tanya-art.net
