"Simple Subject" Demo Class by Brian Bailey

Join us to watch the master pastelist, Brian Bailey, to do a demo of single objects from life.

Brian Bailey, formerly a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York,  now paints and teaches at his atelier in New Jersey. He has won numerous awards for his work in pastel and has been featured in select exhibitions both nationally and abroad. Most recently his work was exhibited at the 4th international Biennale Pastel d’Opale (Honoree) France, Artlife Fest 2020-21, Russia ,the International Pastel Biennial in Suzhou, China and the Museu Europeu d’ Art Modern Barcelona Spain. He won the Prix de Pastel at the IAPS 5th Master Circle Exhibiton. His work is in several public and private collections including the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.

2 of Brian Bailey's pastels are currently on display at the "Art of Pastel" Exhibition in Penza, Russia and virtually. This demo is a part of the educational program for this project.
