CREATIVITY UNTAMED: From Sketch to Frame!

Have you ever wanted to bring a looser and more painterly feel to your work loaded with juicy colour and flooded with light?

Join me and I will share some of my working methods concentrating on painting landscapes, seascapes, figures and still life subjects that delight you and excite the viewer. Using gouache sketches and thumbnails along with our reference material we can bring some fresh colour and a more painterly feel to our works.

Suggested colour for gouache :

Any good artists quality including Titanium White, Naples Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Cad Red Light, Ultramarine Blue, Cad Orange, Raw Sienna. (Winsor&Newton or others)

Two Good quality watercolour/gouache brushes: #4 plus a liner for fine detail.

Toned Sketchbook: gray or tan coloured pages. (Strathmore or similar)

Three Ink markers: fine point, med chisel , large chisel. (sharpie, W&N)

After Lunch Tony will do a pastel demo based on the created sketch.
